Stonecraft Expands World’s Largest Miyawaki Forest

Hyderabad – Stonecraft Group, a prominent biophilic developer and eco-realty conglomerate based in Hyderabad, has announced the expansion of its flagship project, “Stonecraft Woods Shamshabad,” by an additional 100 acres. This expansion cements Woods Shamshabad’s status as the world’s largest Miyawaki forest.

The Woods Shamshabad project employs an innovative Japanese ecological restoration technique, integrating it with unique living concepts. As a net-zero emission and climate-responsive initiative, the project offers farm units nestled within the Miyawaki forest. Phase 1 of the project, which features a three-year-old man-made forest, is already self-sustaining and thriving.

Building on the success of Phase 1, Phase 2 will add over 100 acres to the project, encompassing 150 individual units ranging from 1800 to 3500 square yards. This phase aims to enhance the eco-friendly living experience by expanding the forest and incorporating additional sustainable housing units.
“Woods Shamshabad Phase 1 exceeded all expectations, validating the growing demand for our most desirable sustainable living model. This expansion marks a significant step forward in our commitment to creating sustainable and net-zero communities,” said Kirthi Chilukuri, Founder and CEO at Stonecraft Group. ” Phase 2 will provide even more opportunities for individuals and families to experience a unique daily living environment that prioritises well-being and conservational responsibility.”

According to a CBRE survey, the demand for sustainable housing has seen a significant rise. The report highlights that green buildings have the potential to reduce emissions by 40% and lower maintenance costs by 30%. This growing trend underscores the importance of projects like Woods Shamshabad in promoting sustainable living and environmental responsibility.

Stonecraft Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship is evident in its ambitious expansion plans. The additional acreage will not only increase the size of the Miyawaki forest but also enhance the project’s capacity to offset carbon emissions and provide a healthier living environment for residents.

The company’s focus on biophilic design and sustainable development is aligned with global efforts to combat climate change. By expanding Woods Shamshabad, Stonecraft Group is setting a benchmark in eco-friendly real estate development, offering innovative solutions that contribute to a net-zero future.

As the world grapples with the impacts of climate change, initiatives like Woods Shamshabad are crucial in promoting sustainable development and reducing carbon footprints. Stonecraft Group’s expansion project serves as a model for integrating ecological restoration with modern living, paving the way for a greener, more sustainable future.
