Ritco Partners CONCOR To Boost Multimodal Logistics And Connectivity
Ritco Logistics Limited has forged a strategic partnership with Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR), a government-owned container train operator, marking a significant step towards strengthening its multimodal logistics capabilities. As part of this agreement, Ritco will operate as a Business Associate of CONCOR. This collaboration is set to provide Ritco with direct access to CONCOR’s extensive network of 70 multimodal logistics hubs, enabling a substantial expansion of its operations across key trade routes and previously underserved regions throughout the country.
The partnership’s primary objective is to offer more integrated transport solutions by effectively leveraging both road and rail networks, which is expected to significantly improve cargo movement efficiency and and reduce overall transit times for clients. Company leadership hailed the agreement as a “transformative moment” for Ritco, expressing confidence in achieving a major turnaround in the logistics industry. The collaboration is anticipated to empower the company to deliver faster, more cost-effective, and comprehensive logistics solutions to its diverse clientele while simultaneously expanding its presence in specialized markets.
Ritco currently operates through over 60 branches across India, providing services to multiple sectors including polymers, steel, cement, tyres, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and various finished goods. Its comprehensive service portfolio includes warehousing, manpower supply, inventory management, dispatch, and Full Truck Load (FTL) transport. The company manages a substantial fleet of over 800 owned vehicles and 4,500 attached vehicles, with access to a wider network of approximately two lakh trucks, supporting its pan-India logistics operations and ensuring widespread service capabilities.
