Mumbai is poised to witness a significant augmentation of its urban infrastructure landscape with the scheduled inauguration of the Reay Road Bridge on May 13th.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis is set to officially open the city’s first land-based cable-stayed bridge at a ceremony commencing at 7 PM in the Reay Road area, marking a notable advancement in urban connectivity and engineering prowess. This landmark bridge distinguishes itself as a novel infrastructure development for Mumbai. Unlike the iconic Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which gracefully traverses the Arabian Sea, the Reay Road Bridge is a pioneering structure conceived and constructed entirely on land. Its modern cable-stayed design represents an adaptation of advanced engineering principles tailored for densely populated urban environments, offering a compelling solution to the challenges of intra-city mobility.
