Pune train timings revised from June 1

The Central Railway’s Pune Division has announced a revision in the arrival and departure timings of select terminating and originating trains at Pune Junction, effective from June 2025.

The move aims to enhance punctuality and streamline train operations for passengers using one of Maharashtra’s busiest rail hubs. The changes affect both inbound and outbound trains and will apply to journeys commencing on or after the specified dates in June. One terminating train and four originating trains will see minor adjustments to their schedules.

Key timing changes include:
Train No. 12127 CSMT–Pune Express: Arrival time at Pune revised from 9:57 am to 10:00 am. (Effective from June 1)
Train No. 22148 Shirdi (SNSI) – Dadar (DR) Superfast Express: Departure from Shirdi advanced from 7:25 am to 7:20 am. (Effective from June 7)
Train No. 12126 Pune – CSMT Pragati Express: Departure from Pune revised from 7:50 am to 7:45 am. (Effective from June 1)
Train No. 12128 Pune – CSMT Intercity Express: Departure from Pune revised from 5:55 pm to 5:50 pm. (Effective from June 1)
Train No. 16381 Pune – Kanyakumari Express: Departure from Pune revised from 11:50 pm to 11:45 pm. (Effective from June 1)

Railway officials stated that these adjustments are part of a broader strategy to improve train punctuality and ensure smoother platform operations, especially during peak hours. No other routes or services have been affected in the current update. Passengers are advised to check the updated train schedules before planning their journeys to avoid any inconvenience.
