Pune To Receive Four New Vande Bharat Trains Boosting Connectivity
In Pune, the Indian Railways has announced a significant expansion of its high-speed rail network for the city, with the introduction of four new Vande Bharat Express trains. These services will connect Pune with Shegaon, Vadodara, Secunderabad, and Belagavi, elevating the total number of Vande Bharat trains operating from Pune to six. The Pune–Belagavi connection is expected to strengthen links with Karnataka’s northern industrial hub, with estimated ticket prices ranging between ₹1,500 and ₹2,000, making intercity travel more efficient and appealing.
