NHAI officials further clarified that while the Mumbai-Nashik road spans 142 km under NHAI jurisdiction, a 23.8 km stretch from Vadape to Thane was awarded to a new concessionaire, MSRDC, in 2021, with 80% of construction and 90% of service road work now complete, projected for completion by December 2025.
