PMC Commissioner Directs Ward Offices to Upload Development Work Details for Transparency
In an effort to address growing concerns regarding the non-transparent work culture of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), Commissioner Dr Rajendra Bhosale has issued a directive requiring all ward offices to upload comprehensive details of development projects. This decision follows a series of complaints from residents about the lack of information regarding ongoing work and its progress at the ward level. Similarly, civic rights activist Jaymala Dhankikar expressed her disappointment with the PMC’s performance, highlighting the inefficiency of ward offices in addressing urgent issues. “Repeated complaints have fallen on deaf ears, leaving citizens frustrated and suffering,” she added.
