Patna Metro Dispatches First Coach As Blue Line Nears August 15 Launch
The first metro coach for the city’s ambitious metro rail project has been dispatched, marking a pivotal milestone in the countdown to the operational launch of the ‘Blue Line’. Scheduled for August 15, this initial phase represents a significant leap towards modernising Patna’s public transport infrastructure. This initial three-coach set will operate on a 6.49-kilometre elevated section, connecting Malahi Pakri and the New ISBT. With approximately 95% of the construction work completed on this priority corridor, the focus is now on the final stages of installation, including essential equipment such as lifts, escalators, and ticketing machines.
