The much-anticipated Vande Bharat Express connecting Patna and Gorakhpur is set to commence operations on June 20, 2025. This semi-high-speed train aims to significantly reduce travel time between the two cities, enhancing connectivity and providing a modern travel experience for passengers.
The Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, with Saturday reserved for maintenance. The train is scheduled to depart from Gorakhpur at 6:30 am, reaching Patna by 1:30 pm. The return journey will commence from Patna at 2:25 pm, arriving back in Gorakhpur at 9:35 pm. The train will cover key stations including Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Bettiah, Narkatiaganj, and Kaptanganj. The Vande Bharat Express is designed to offer a comfortable and efficient travel experience. The train will feature one executive coach and seven chair car coaches, equipped with modern amenities to enhance passenger comfort. These include air-conditioned coaches, onboard catering services, and advanced safety features.
