The National Institute of Construction Management and Research (NICMAR) University, Pune, recently hosted its eighth International Conference on Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Project Management (ICCRIP) on August 23-24, 2024. This biennial event took place at NICMAR’s Pune campus and has once again reinforced its status as a leading forum in the construction and real estate sectors.
This year’s conference spotlighted six critical areas: research papers, case studies, practitioners’ perspectives, doctoral colloquium, hackathon, and editors’ conclave, all with a focus on the pivotal themes of Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure, and Project Management (CRIP). The diverse range of topics and interactive sessions provided a comprehensive platform for exchanging ideas and innovations.
ICCRIP 2024 attracted over a thousand participants, including prominent industrialists, distinguished academics, research scholars, and industry professionals, alongside engineering and architecture students from various national and international institutions. This significant turnout underscores the conference’s growing influence and the increasing importance of such platforms for advancing knowledge in these fields. A total of 465 papers were submitted for consideration, with 250 selected for presentation. This robust submission rate highlights the high level of research and interest in the conference’s core topics. The accepted papers and presentations covered a wide array of subjects, reflecting current trends and future directions in construction and real estate management.
