NCR Completes Successful Kavach Trials For Safer Rail Operations
The North Central Railways (NCR) has completed a series of successful locomotive trials for the indigenous automatic train protection system, Kavach. Conducted on the crucial Mathura-Palwal section of the Agra division, these trials have affirmed the system’s capability to effectively prevent both rear-end and head-on collisions, signalling a monumental shift towards a safer and more reliable rail network.
