According to transport authorities involved in the planning process, at least two consultancy organisations have expressed interest in undertaking the assignment. Once the consultant is finalised, preliminary studies and field assessments for the Nagpur Metro Phase 3 project are expected to begin in the coming months.
The detailed project report, commonly referred to as a DPR, serves as the technical foundation for major infrastructure developments such as metro systems.
