The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) has provided a significant update on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project, focusing on the advancements at the Anand Bullet Train Station. The latest report highlights the accelerated progress of construction and the nearing completion of key infrastructural elements.
Recent images shared by NHSRCL showcase the substantial evolution of Anand Station. The construction has reached notable milestones, with the concourse and platform levels now completed. The roofing work is approaching its final stages, and internal finishing tasks are underway. These updates reflect the ongoing commitment to advancing the project’s timeline. The Anand Bullet Train Station is set to become a pivotal node in the high-speed rail network, with its platform stretching 415 meters to accommodate the swift transit demands of high-speed rail. The station will rise to a height of 25.6 meters, underlining its modern and impressive architectural design. The total built-up area of the station will be 44,073 square meters, designed to enhance functionality and passenger comfort.
The station’s layout will feature three distinct levels: Ground, Concourse, and Platform. It will include two side platforms positioned adjacent to four tracks. This design ensures efficient management of high-speed rail operations and passenger flow. In addition to its functional design, the Anand Station will offer a suite of state-of-the-art amenities. Skylights will be integrated into the roofing to provide natural lighting, enhancing the station’s environmental sustainability. Passengers will benefit from a range of facilities, including ticketing and waiting zones, a premium business-class lounge, a nursery for families, and well-appointed restrooms. Information kiosks and retail outlets will also be available to cater to diverse passenger needs.
