MSRTCs Chhava Ride app to launch as Maharashtras first government hailing service
The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) is set to launch ‘Chhava Ride’, the state’s first government-backed ride-hailing application. The Mumbai Bank will offer loans at a competitive interest rate to unemployed local youth interested in becoming drivers. In a major move to ensure financial inclusivity, an additional interest subsidy will be provided through various state development corporations, making the loans effectively interest-free for eligible applicants.
