IREDA, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar), has initiated a strategic partnership aimed at advancing innovation and research within the renewable energy sector. This partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at the 100 Cube Start-up Conclave hosted by IIT Bhubaneswar, underscores joint efforts to drive technological advancements and support start-up initiatives.
The MoU outlines commitments from both entities to engage in collaborative research endeavours, technology transfer initiatives, and nurturing the growing start-up ecosystem within the renewable energy domain. Additionally, the agreement encompasses various capacity-building activities such as training programs, seminars, and workshops tailored to enhance the skill sets of IREDA personnel.
The signing ceremony witnessed the presence of key dignitaries including Pradip Kumar Das, Chairman and Managing Director of IREDA, and Dr Debi Prasad Dogra, Independent Director of IIT Bhubaneswar. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship, Dharmendra Pradhan, along with Prof. Shreepad Karmalkar, Director of IIT Bhubaneswar, also graced the occasion, highlighting the significance of this partnership in driving innovation and sustainable development in the renewable energy sector.
