MHADA’s 9th Lokshahi Din on Feb 10 to Address Citizen Complaints

The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) is set to conduct its ninth Lokshahi Din on February 10, 2025, under the leadership of Sanjeev Jaiswal, Vice President and CEO of MHADA. The session, aimed at resolving public grievances, will be held at 12:00 PM at Grihanirman Bhavan, located in Bandra (East), Mumbai.

Since January 2024, MHADA has been holding Lokshahi Din on the second Monday of each month to foster direct communication between citizens and senior officials. This initiative ensures that residents can voice their concerns and receive prompt resolutions. As of now, 81 applications have been submitted, with 75 cases successfully resolved, highlighting the effectiveness of this ongoing effort.

To participate in the upcoming session, applicants must submit their grievances in the prescribed format at least 14 days before the scheduled event. The required forms can be accessed on MHADA’s official website. However, certain types of grievances, including those related to ongoing court cases, service-related issues, or those that have already been settled, will not be considered. If an application is deemed ineligible, it will be redirected to the relevant department within eight days, and applicants will be duly notified of the decision. This initiative is part of MHADA’s continued efforts to improve transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in addressing public concerns related to housing and urban development. Through Lokshahi Din, MHADA has opened a vital channel for citizens to seek assistance and have their voices heard, making governance more accessible and efficient.
