Kolkata’s metro expansion project, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd (RVNL) has achieved a major milestone with the completion of the second metro pier at the Chingrighata crossing.
With construction work concluded, RVNL is poised to hand over the site back to normal traffic flow this week, marking a significant step forward in the New Garia-Airport Metro corridor project. The newly constructed pier at Chingrighata, pivotal for the metro line’s extension, underscores RVNL’s commitment to progress amidst logistical challenges and regulatory requirements.
