The Indian Railways has implemented revised departure times for several trains operating on the Konkan route, including the Netravati and Rajdhani Express, in accordance with the monsoon schedule. These changes aim to ensure passenger safety and efficient train operations during the monsoon season.
The Netravati Express, which connects Thiruvananthapuram and Mumbai, will now depart from Ernakulam South at 9:15 AM, arriving at the destination approximately 1.5 hours earlier than the previous schedule. This adjustment is part of the broader monsoon timetable, which is effective from June 10 to October 31, 2025.
Similarly, the Thiruvananthapuram to Delhi Rajdhani Express (Train No. 12431) will now depart at 2:40 PM instead of the previous 7:15 PM, reflecting the seasonal adjustments. Passengers are advised to verify the updated schedules through official channels such as the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) website or mobile application, as well as the IRCTC website and app, to avoid discrepancies.
These revised timings are part of the Indian Railways’ efforts to maintain safety and punctuality during the challenging monsoon months, ensuring a smoother travel experience for passengers on the Konkan route.
