The terminal processed over 8,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) from a single vessel call, marking a new benchmark for cargo throughput in the region. 

The milestone was achieved with the arrival of a next-generation ultra-large container vessel, underscoring the port’s growing ability to handle high-capacity ships that are increasingly dominating global trade routes.
