Jodhpur to Ramdevra Special Train to Operate on June 6

In response to the surge in pilgrim traffic heading to the Ramdevra temple, Indian Railways has scheduled a special unreserved train service between Jodhpur and Ramdevra on Friday, June 6.

This initiative aims to facilitate smooth travel for devotees participating in the ‘Jatara’ festival, a significant religious event in the region. Train Number 04833 will depart from Jodhpur at 10:50 AM, reaching Ramdevra at 2:30 PM the same day. The return service, Train Number 04834, will leave Ramdevra at 3:20 PM and arrive in Jodhpur at 7:15 PM. The train will halt at key stations including Raikabagh, Mandor, Marwar Mathania, Osian, Marwar Lohawat, and Phalodi, providing convenient access for pilgrims from surrounding areas.

The special train will consist of 10 unreserved coaches: 8 General Coaches and 2 Guard/SLR Coaches. This configuration is designed to accommodate a large number of devotees traveling without prior reservations, ensuring affordability and accessibility. This one-day special service is expected to alleviate the strain on regular train services and provide significant convenience to devotees heading to Baba Ramdev’s shrine.

The increased connectivity underscores Indian Railways’ commitment to supporting regional religious practices and facilitating smooth travel for pilgrims. As the festival approaches, passengers are advised to arrive at the stations in advance and adhere to all travel guidelines to ensure a safe and comfortable journey.
