Mahindra Tractors has launched its latest range of precision-engineered mLIFT hydraulic tractors, specifically designed to meet the demanding agricultural conditions of Rajasthan. Developed in Jaipur, the new models incorporate advanced load-sensing technology, electronic controls, and fuel-efficient engines tailored for long operational hours and varied terrain. With a focus on serviceability, depth precision, and high torque performance, the new tractors are expected to enhance productivity and reduce resource usage for both farming and allied non-farming applications across the state.
The new mLIFT system, manufactured in Jaipur, is designed to deliver real-time hydraulic responsiveness and reliable field performance. It supports uniform depth during land and seedbed preparation and integrates seamlessly with implements such as rotavators and cultivators. The XP Plus range—comprising the Mahindra 275 DI XP Plus, 475 DI MS XP Plus, and 575 DI XP Plus—features improved torque and advanced load-sensing capabilities. These tractors also offer variable displacement pumps and electronic control systems that adjust to soil conditions dynamically, ensuring optimal fuel efficiency and minimum operator fatigue. Built for endurance, these models can withstand long hours of field work without performance drops. With a six-year standard warranty that covers the hydraulic system, Mahindra is offering farmers in Rajasthan a rugged and durable machinery solution backed by an extensive dealer service network and easy maintenance features for rural deployment.
Equipped with a robust 3-cylinder ELS DI engine, the Mahindra 275 DI XP Plus offers 1500 kg hydraulic lift capacity and high hydraulic flow rates up to 32.1 LPM, critical for precise and timely operations. For hot climate performance, the tractor includes a water-cooled radiator system. The 575 DI XP Plus, another highlight in the series, delivers a maximum torque of 207 Nm and 15% backup torque, ensuring consistent performance even under tough loads and terrain. Experts note its low Specific Fuel Consumption of 185 gm/hp-hr makes it particularly beneficial in reducing fuel costs over the season. These features position Mahindra’s mLIFT tractors as a technology-forward alternative in a market dominated by traditional diesel workhorses. Additionally, the new models come with power and mechanical steering options to suit various user preferences, reflecting a deeper understanding of the region’s diverse agricultural practices.
The launch of Mahindra’s mLIFT tractor series signals a significant leap for precision agriculture in Rajasthan, offering local farmers access to fuel-efficient, high-performance technology tailored for regional conditions. Experts view the new models as a smart investment, particularly for those aiming to boost productivity while minimising operational costs. With a blend of power, precision, and ease of service, the tractors promise to support evolving farm mechanisation goals in India’s arid zones. As Rajasthan gears up for the upcoming cultivation cycle, the availability of this homegrown hydraulic innovation may reshape field outcomes and rural mechanisation standards.
