Commencing its services at four major railway stations—Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Vijayawada, and Visakhapatnam—Swiggy is set to play a pivotal role in ensuring that train travellers enjoy a curated dining experience while in transit.
The maiden phase of this partnership marks Swiggy’s foray into the railway catering domain, with plans for a broader expansion to additional stations following the successful implementation of the initial stage. In a regulatory filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), IRCTC disclosed, “The e-catering service through Bundl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (Swiggy Foods) may be available soon,” underscoring the corporation’s commitment to providing a seamless and diversified dining experience for railway passengers.
