IndiGo has announced plans to launch its business class product, IndiGoStretch, on the Delhi-Bengaluru route, beginning January 10, 2024. This strategic move is part of the airline’s ongoing efforts to enhance its premium service offerings, particularly on the highly travelled Delhi-Bengaluru corridor, which is one of the busiest routes in the country.
IndiGoStretch, which made its debut on the Delhi-Mumbai route in December 2023, will now be available on all 15 daily flights between Delhi and Bengaluru by March 2024. The airline is also planning to extend this service to other major routes, with Delhi-Chennai flights expected to feature IndiGoStretch in the near future. By early 2025, the IndiGoStretch service is set to be available on the Delhi-Mumbai route as well, marking an expansion of its business class offerings across key domestic routes. Passengers opting for IndiGoStretch will enjoy a premium set of services designed to enhance their travel experience. The exclusive benefits include priority check-in, advance seat selection, and zero convenience fees. In addition, IndiGoStretch passengers will benefit from an impressive baggage allowance: 30 kg for checked luggage (two bags) and a cabin bag weighing up to 12 kg. This premium service is tailored to meet the needs of business travellers who seek comfort, convenience, and efficiency during their journeys.
With this introduction, IndiGo aims to cater to the growing demand for business class services on domestic flights. The airline is responding to an increasing number of passengers seeking premium experiences without the high cost often associated with traditional business class offerings on full-service airlines. By providing these added features, IndiGo is positioning itself as a strong player in the domestic business travel market, offering affordable, premium options for those travelling on key routes like Delhi-Bengaluru. The launch of IndiGoStretch underscores IndiGo’s commitment to strengthening its position in the Indian aviation market by offering greater value and flexibility to both business and leisure travellers.
