The 13th edition of the India Warehousing Show (IWS), organised by RX India, has marked a significant milestone in the warehousing sector. Held at the Yashobhoomi, India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC), Dwarka, New Delhi, the event was inaugurated by Shri Surendra Ahirwar, Joint Secretary of Logistics & Trade, Ministry of Commerce & Industry. IWS remains a pivotal gathering for professionals in warehousing, material handling, logistics, automation, and supply chain management, uniting the entire industry under one roof.
The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Kamlesh Gosai, Executive Director of Gati Shakti (Traffic), Railway Board (Ministry of Railways); H. N. Aswath, Development Advisor, Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways; and Sagar Kadu, Director of Logistics, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. In his keynote address, Shri Surendra Ahirwar highlighted the transformative developments in India’s logistics sector, particularly the integration of technology and human skills that have significantly boosted supply chain efficiency. He remarked, “Exhibitions and conferences like the India Warehousing Show are vital catalysts for brainstorming, ideation, and innovation. We are witnessing substantial advancements in digitalisation, infrastructure, and investments in the logistics sector monthly. As we envision India in 2047, our collaborative efforts across government, industry, and citizens aim to establish the nation as a developed country. The international exchange at the India Warehousing Show fosters the sharing of technology, knowledge, and best practices, propelling our logistics industry forward.” Mr. Umang Gupta, Country General Manager of RX India, welcomed the presence of the honourable government dignitaries and industry leaders. The 13th edition of the India Warehousing Show featured participation from 250 exhibitors. RX India provided an immersive platform where participants could witness the latest technological advancements and live product demonstrations from prominent national and international companies offering solutions for storage, transportation, and logistics. The event also included a series of expert-led panel discussions, industry talk shows, and networking sessions with industry leaders, offering valuable insights into the logistics, warehousing, and supply chain sectors. Attendees engaged in discussions with government and industry decision-makers on topics such as the National Logistics Policy, optimising logistical costs, AI and Industry 4.0 in supply chain efficiency, and sustainability in logistics. Notable sessions included discussions on women in leadership roles within the logistics sector and the impact of e-commerce and Q-commerce on consumer experiences. The state-of-the-art Yashobhoomi venue, with its cutting-edge facilities and ample space, provided an ideal environment for industry professionals to connect, collaborate, and drive innovation. The exhibition saw participation from leading players such as DP World, APL Apollo Steel Pipes, Cushman & Wakefield, Mitsubishi Electric, Nido Automation, Gandhi Automation, Action Construction Equipment, Avery Dennison, and Gaurang Steel, among others.
