Hyderabad Real Estate Gets Boost with New Trump Towers Project Launch

A towering icon of global real estate branding is set to rise in Hyderabad’s high-end locality of Kokapet. A luxury residential project under the Trump Towers brand will begin construction between August and September this year, marking one of the tallest luxury developments in the city to date.

Spanning over four acres at the prestigious Golden Mile stretch, the project is expected to feature over 63 floors and carry a projected investment of ₹3,500 crore. This ambitious venture is being developed through a joint collaboration between Tribeca Developers, the India partner of the Trump real estate brand, and Hyderabad-based Ira Realty. Positioned to become a landmark development in South India, this will be among the tallest Trump Towers in the country after Mumbai’s 78-floor tower.

Hyderabad’s inclusion in this elite line-up highlights India’s growing significance in global luxury real estate. With existing Trump-branded properties in Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata, and Gurgaon, India remains the only country outside the United States where six Trump projects are actively planned or under development. According to developers, the Hyderabad edition is currently in the final stages of regulatory clearance.

The two-tower project will host over 400 ultra-luxury apartments, with per-square-foot prices expected to hover around ₹15,000. Unit sizes will be capped at 5,000 square feet, with the starting price ranging between ₹4 crore and ₹5 crore. According to sources involved in the project, the architectural blueprint has been crafted to mirror the global design DNA of Trump properties—characterised by contemporary aesthetics, glass façades, and sophisticated chrome finishes.

Unlike conventional layouts, the Hyderabad towers will feature a central 48-feet-high amenity hub that connects both buildings—designed to emulate a ship’s keel. This section will house premium lifestyle features such as squash courts, a clubhouse, fitness facilities, and other recreational zones. The structural design is being helmed by a well-regarded Indian architect, although the identity remains undisclosed at this stage. The project timeline indicates a construction cycle of approximately four to four-and-a-half years.

The launch also underscores Hyderabad’s evolving urban skyline, with Kokapet rapidly emerging as a premium destination for high-value real estate. With proximity to the Financial District, Outer Ring Road, and major business parks, the area has drawn substantial interest from top-tier developers. However, as the city climbs vertically with projects like these, questions around urban sustainability, carbon footprint, and inclusive development continue to gain relevance.

The Trump Towers model, often associated with opulence and exclusivity, may find strong traction among high-net-worth individuals and NRIs. Yet, for a city like Hyderabad that has been making strides toward becoming more inclusive and climate-resilient, the need for environmentally conscious building practices remains critical. While the project brings prestige and international design to the city, industry experts suggest it must also align with green norms and sustainable development benchmarks.

As construction gears up in the coming months, the success of the Trump Towers in Kokapet will not only rest on its luxury credentials but also on how well it integrates with the broader urban fabric—economically, environmentally, and socially.
