Greater Noida to Get Rs440 Cr Medical Device Park by Jan 2026 with 89 Plots Allotted Says Centre

The Centre has directed the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) to complete the ₹440 crore Medical Device Park in Sector 28, Greater Noida by January 2026. Spread over 350 acres, the upcoming park is positioned to transform India’s medical technology landscape, acting as a national hub for manufacturing, research, and innovation in medical devices. This landmark project is being developed under the guidance of the Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, and is expected to significantly strengthen India’s healthcare infrastructure while boosting exports.

Currently, internal infrastructure such as roads, drainage, sewerage systems, and scientific facilities are progressing at full pace. YEIDA officials confirmed that the administrative building is already completed and construction on medical manufacturing units is underway. Out of more than 200 plots, 89 have already been allotted, including the park’s largest allotment—11 acres to TI Medical, a joint venture between Tube Investments of India (Murugappa Group) and Premji Invest.

To maintain momentum, YEIDA has also launched a new scheme to offer 21 additional plots to prospective investors. As per lease terms, all companies must begin operations within two years, ensuring timely growth and job creation in the region.

The Medical Device Park will host a wide range of manufacturers, including those focused on anaesthesia equipment, implants, radiology systems, in-vitro diagnostic products, and cancer care equipment. Backed by ₹100 crore from the central government—₹70 crore for scientific equipment and ₹30 crore for civil works—the rest of the ₹340 crore is funded by the Uttar Pradesh government through YEIDA.

Strategically located near the Noida International Airport and Film City, the park will also include six Common Scientific Facilities and 13 specialized labs for IoMT, AI/ML, biomaterial testing, and gamma irradiation. Once complete, it will offer a fully integrated ecosystem to support India’s ambition to become self-reliant in medical device production.
