The Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has recently launched an auction scheme for commercial plots, sparking significant interest among investors keen on capitalising on the region’s burgeoning commercial potential. This scheme includes 12 strategically located plots, ranging in size from 3,600 to 10,600 square meters, spread across several key sectors.
According to the Authority’s Officer on Special Duty (OSD), these plots are situated in prime locations within Greater Noida, specifically three in Sector 10, five in Sector 12, three in Delta One, and one in Sector One. This strategic placement is expected to offer considerable footfall and high visibility for future commercial establishments, promising robust business opportunities.
The registration process commenced on June 26, marking the beginning of what is anticipated to be a highly competitive auction. Prospective bidders have until July 16 to register their interest, with a submission deadline for processing fees and relevant documents set for July 19. The auction process, designed to be transparent and fair, will determine the allocation of these commercial spaces.
GNIDA has partnered with the State Bank of India (SBI) to facilitate a seamless application process. Interested parties can apply through the SBI portal, which is directly linked to the Greater Noida Authority website, ensuring an efficient and user-friendly experience for all potential investors.
The initiative, launched under the direction of CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar and headed by ACEO Annapurna Garg, aims to address the growing demand for commercial spaces in Greater Noida. This move underscores the Authority’s commitment to meeting the needs of both residents and investors, reflecting a strategic vision for the region’s development.
The successful allotment of these plots will pave the way for the construction of new commercial complexes, which are anticipated to significantly enhance the quality of life for local residents by catering to their daily needs. Once the allotment process concludes, possession of the plots will be transferred to the successful bidders, initiating the development of new commercial infrastructures.
