The Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) expects the initiative to reduce administrative barriers, enhance transparency, and enable prospective buyers to apply remotely without visiting offices in person.
The digital system allows residents to submit details, track applications, and receive acknowledgements electronically, streamlining what has historically been a paperwork-intensive process. “This is a significant step towards making housing schemes more accessible, particularly for first-time buyers and lower-income families,” said a GDA official. By centralising records, the authority also hopes to improve oversight of unit allocations and ensure compliance with statutory reservations mandated for LIG and EWS categories.
