The Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) is set to redefine civic infrastructure with the impending unveiling of its state-of-the-art headquarters, aptly named ‘Swarajya’, scheduled for completion in 2025.
Positioned as a beacon of modernity and eco-consciousness, the new administrative hub is poised to elevate Panvel’s architectural landscape while prioritising sustainability and functionality. Situated on a sprawling five-acre plot in sector 16 of New Panvel, the ‘Swarajya’ headquarters epitomizes a harmonious blend of contemporary design and environmental stewardship. Led by renowned architect Hiten Sethi, the project encompasses an expansive area of 4,08,063 sqft and is being developed in two meticulously planned phases. With an estimated cost of ₹280 crore, the construction of ‘Swarajya’ embodies a meticulous approach towards achieving the prestigious platinum rating from the Indian Green Building Council. Embracing cutting-edge sustainability features and eco-conscious design principles, the headquarters aims to set a new benchmark for environmentally responsible civic infrastructure.
Notably, the project has already achieved significant progress, with 40% of the building’s construction completed.
