The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) have forged a significant partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly serve as a Project Service Provider for design, construction, and consultancy services both within India and internationally.
This strategic alliance, formalised on Thursday, aims to leverage the combined expertise and resources of both organisations to deliver complex infrastructure projects more efficiently and effectively. The MoU was signed by senior officials from both DMRC and RVNL, including the Director of Operations at RVNL. The presence of top executives at the signing ceremony underscored the importance of this collaboration and the commitment of both entities to achieving their shared goals. According to a statement released by DMRC, the partnership will cover a wide array of infrastructure projects. These include metro and railway systems, high-speed rail, highways, mega-bridges, tunnels, institutional buildings, workshops, depots, signal and telecommunication (S&T) works, and railway electrification. This comprehensive scope reflects the ambitious vision of both organisations to expand their reach and capabilities in the infrastructure sector.
