Delhi Commuters Face Lane Closures On Siraspur and Shahbad Bawana Roads
The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory on lane closures on key city arteries, including Siraspur Road and the Samaypur Badli underpass on Shahbad Bawana Road, to facilitate repair and maintenance work by the Public Works Department (PWD). The closures, effective until September 2, are expected to impact traffic flow significantly, particularly for vehicles moving from Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar towards Shahbad Dairy.
Officials noted that while one lane will remain operational, commuters should anticipate congestion due to restricted road capacity. The maintenance includes emergency repairs on the L-XING No. 10 SPL section on Huk-Bhd, as part of ongoing efforts to ensure road safety and infrastructure reliability.
