Delhi Airport Schools Receive Bomb Threats Nothing Suspicious Found Official

Delhi authorities acted swiftly on Sunday after a series of bomb threat emails targeted key locations, including the Delhi airport, several schools, and other institutions. Security agencies conducted extensive searches, confirming the emails were hoaxes, and emphasised that public safety remained uncompromised.

Officials from the Delhi Police stated that emails warning of explosive devices were received at multiple institutions. Among the sites affected were CRPF Public School in Noida and a Sarvodaya Vidyalaya near Qutub Minar. Fire services and bomb disposal units were promptly deployed to each site to carry out thorough inspections. After exhaustive checks, no suspicious items were found. Authorities underlined that the precautionary response was standard protocol and designed to prioritise the safety of students, staff, and residents.

Meanwhile, Jammu Airport in Jammu and Kashmir also received a bomb threat via email on Sunday morning. Security personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) and local police conducted a full anti-sabotage drill. Airport operations continued without disruption, and no explosive devices were discovered. Officials confirmed that the email was a hoax, but a police complaint has been registered and the investigation to trace the source of the threats is ongoing.

Security experts highlighted that such incidents, even when false, demand rapid and coordinated action across multiple agencies. “Threat emails targeting high-footfall institutions and transport hubs require immediate deployment of trained personnel,” an official explained. “These exercises not only protect lives but also reinforce public confidence in emergency preparedness.”

Authorities emphasised the importance of vigilance, particularly in urban centres and critical infrastructure. Protocols for bomb threats now include coordinated responses between police, fire services, and specialised bomb disposal units, ensuring rapid verification and minimal disruption to daily life.Delhi police and airport officials reiterated that no hazards were detected, and the threats did not affect air traffic or routine operations in schools. Parents and commuters were advised to stay informed through official channels and cooperate with security checks.

While the source of the emails remains under investigation, authorities underlined that the swift response demonstrates the city’s capacity to manage potential security threats efficiently. Analysts note that maintaining zero-disruption operations during such incidents is critical in dense urban centres where public infrastructure and safety are tightly interlinked. This series of incidents serves as a reminder of the ongoing need for vigilance, integrated security planning, and rapid-response protocols across Delhi’s transport, education, and institutional sectors.
