The City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) has introduced a new housing scheme offering 902 flats. This initiative, unveiled on August 26, 2024, is designed to cater to a broad demographic and aims to provide accessible housing options across Navi Mumbai.
The scheme, which spans developed nodes including Kalamboli, Kharghar, and Ghansoli, comprises a diverse range of housing units. Of the total flats available, 38 are reserved for the economically weaker sections (EWS), while 175 are allocated under the general category. The majority of the flats, numbering 689, are situated within CIDCO’s prominent projects, Swapnapurti and Vastu Vihar in Kharghar. Officials from CIDCO have emphasised that all the flats within this scheme are ready for immediate possession. This ensures that prospective buyers will not face delays in moving into their new homes.
The development is being presented as a significant opportunity for residents to fulfil their aspiration of owning property in Navi Mumbai. The new housing complexes are strategically located with robust connectivity options, including access to rail, road, and metro networks. This connectivity is expected to enhance the living experience and accessibility for residents. By launching this scheme on the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, CIDCO aims to align the rollout of these housing units with a culturally significant event, thereby increasing its appeal and relevance to potential buyers.
CIDCO’s latest housing initiative reflects a commitment to meeting the housing demands of various segments of society while providing ready-to-move-in solutions. The integration of essential amenities and connectivity highlights the development’s potential to support urban growth and residential satisfaction in Navi Mumbai.
