The demolition drive took place within the logistics park node, where temporary sheds, tin structures, and ancillary facilities had come up on land acquired by CIDCO for planned development. According to officials familiar with the operation, the constructions did not have statutory approvals and were in violation of notified land-use reservations, posing long-term risks to infrastructure planning and public utility provisioning.
