Centre Approves Rs 4,500 Crore Highway to Boost JNPT Connectivity
The Indian government has approved the construction of a Rs 4,500 crore, six-lane access-controlled greenfield highway designed to improve connectivity between the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA) in Navi Mumbai and Chowk, located on the outskirts of the city. The highway, spanning 29.2 km, aims to address long-standing traffic congestion and bolster regional infrastructure.
