Central Railway to Run Special Trains Mumbai-Ahmedabad from January 26
In response to high passenger demand, Central Railway has announced the operation of additional special train services between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. These trains will provide a convenient travel option for passengers between the two cities, starting from 26 January 2025.
The special trains will operate as follows:
- LTT-Ahmedabad-LTT Special (2 Trips):
- Train No. 01003: Departs from LTT Mumbai at 00:55 hrs on 26 January 2025, and will reach Ahmedabad at 11:20 hrs the same day.
- Train No. 01004: Departs from Ahmedabad at 04:00 hrs on 27 January 2025, and arrives at LTT Mumbai at 13:30 hrs the same day.
These special trains will make halts at the following stations: Thane, Bhiwandi Road, Vasai Road, Vapi, Udhna, and Vadodara.
The train composition includes:
- 1 AC 2-tier
- 6 AC 3-tier
- 9 Sleeper Class
- 4 General Second Class
- 1 Second Seating cum Guard’s Brake Van
- 1 Generator Van
Reservations and Ticket Bookings: Bookings for Train No. 01003 are now open at all computerized reservation centres and on the official website of IRCTC at www.irctc.co.in. Passengers are encouraged to book their tickets in advance to secure their travel.
