In a move towards advancing sustainable transportation solutions in India, BYD India has joined forces with OHM E Logistics to deliver 300 units of the all-electric BYD e6 MPV. OHM E Logistics, a prominent electric cab aggregator, cargo leasing app platform and fleet management business, will receive these electric MPVs in phases over the next six months, with the first batch of 50 BYD e6 vehicles already flagged off in Hyderabad.
The partnership between BYD India and OHM E Logistics is a significant milestone for both companies as they take a substantial step forward in offering cleaner and more efficient transportation options to residents and businesses in Indian cities, including Delhi, Mangaluru, Goa, Tirupati and more, operating as premium fleet services.
The BYD e6 is equipped with 71.7 kWh Blade Battery, delivering an impressive range of 520 km in city conditions as per the Worldwide Light Vehicles Test Cycle (WLTC) and a combined range of 415 km on a single charge, making it India’s longest-range electric MPV. Additionally, it supports DC fast charging, enabling a 30 to 80 percent charge in just 35 minutes.
This partnership showcases a commitment to eco-friendly transportation solutions, reducing carbon emissions, and contributing to a cleaner and greener future for India’s mobility landscape.
