The Yogi government has expedited plans to elevate Bodaki in Greater Noida into a cutting-edge, integrated passenger and commercial hub. Positioned strategically along the Delhi-Howrah rail route and connected to NH-91, Bodaki is slated to undergo a transformative makeover, centralizing multiple modes of transportation and commercial activities into a seamless, state-of-the-art complex.
The cornerstone of this ambitious initiative is the development of a sprawling 358-acre multi-modal transport hub, encompassing crucial elements such as the Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT), Local Bus Terminal (LBT), and integration with the Noida Metro. Spearheaded by the National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation (NICDC), the project’s Detailed Project Report (DPR) is advancing alongside comprehensive surveys, master planning, and preparation of Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) documents. This includes the construction of passenger terminals, station buildings, platforms, and ancillary facilities like maintenance yards and staff quarters. Plans also encompass the development of Rail Over Bridges (ROBs), underpasses, and utility infrastructure to optimize railway connectivity. Bodaki’s integration with the Noida Metro is set to be augmented with the extension of the Aqua Line up to the Depot Station, a move facilitated by the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) and endorsed by state authorities. To enhance road connectivity, the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) is spearheading the construction of key arterial roads, including a 105-meter main road and a 60-meter road linking Bodaki to NH-91. Infrastructure projects like the Sector Lambda flyover and a rail over bridge over NH-91 are also progressing under the oversight of the Uttar Pradesh Bridge Corporation.
Beyond its role as a transport hub, Bodaki is being envisioned as a vibrant commercial epicenter, with plans for expansive developments including office spaces, retail centres, hotels, shopping malls, and multi-level parking facilities. This holistic approach aims not only to alleviate congestion and enhance transport efficiency but also to catalyze economic growth and elevate Bodaki into a global benchmark for integrated urban development. The metamorphosis of Bodaki into a world-class integrated passenger facility and commercial hub underscores Uttar Pradesh’s commitment to fostering comprehensive, sustainable development, poised to redefine regional connectivity and economic dynamism.
