The Indian Railways is set to launch a direct train service connecting Bengaluru to Rishikesh. This new service aims to cater to the growing demand for seamless travel between Karnataka and Uttarakhand, especially during the summer months. The special train, designated as Train No. 06597, will depart from Yeshwantpur (Bengaluru) at 7:00 AM on June 19, 26, and July 3.

It is scheduled to arrive in Rishikesh at 10:20 AM on the following Saturday. The return journey, Train No. 06598, will leave Rishikesh at 5:55 PM on June 21, 28, and July 5, reaching Yeshwantpur at 7:45 PM on the subsequent Monday. The train will make several key stops along the route, including Jaipur, Surat, and Vadodara, providing passengers with convenient boarding options en route. This new direct train service offers travellers an opportunity to experience two distinct yet equally captivating regions of India. Bengaluru, known as the “Silicon Valley of India,” is celebrated for its vibrant tech industry, pleasant climate, and green spaces like Cubbon Park and Lalbagh Botanical Garden.
