While the interruptions may cause short-term inconvenience, they are part of a broader strategy to modernise infrastructure, implement safety checks, and enhance energy reliability across expanding residential and commercial zones.
Authorities have advised residents to prepare for the outages by keeping essential devices charged, using backup power where available, and scheduling daily activities around the specified hours. The initiative underscores KPTCL’s commitment to maintaining a sustainable and resilient electricity supply, ensuring that Bengaluru’s expanding population and commercial sectors continue to receive stable power as the city develops.
