Bengaluru Launches India Cuba IT Collaboration Council
Bengaluru India and Cuba have formally established a joint IT council in Bengaluru, signalling a strategic push to strengthen technological collaboration between the two nations. The move follows a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between an Indian trade promotion body and Cuba’s foreign investment agency, creating a structured framework for innovation, digital trade, and cross-border technology development.
The India–Cuba IT Council will serve as a dedicated platform to promote collaboration in five core areas: the development of IT parks and technology zones, digital trade and services, industry delegations and exchanges, education and skill-building, and emerging technology research.
