Arvind SmartSpaces, a prominent real estate developer, has announced a major step in expanding its portfolio with the signing of an agreement to jointly develop a 440-acre industrial park in Ahmedabad. This ambitious project is expected to bring a top-line revenue potential of ₹1,350 crore, marking a significant milestone for the company’s horizontal product diversification. The industrial park, located near key logistics hubs, is set to accelerate industrial growth in the region, contributing to the economy while offering a range of opportunities for large-scale industries.

The industrial park will be situated on the strategically important NH47, Bavla-Bagodara Road, making it easily accessible to other crucial industrial centres and ports across Gujarat. The project, which will be developed under a joint development model, grants Arvind SmartSpaces a 70.5% share of the revenue generated. This strong foothold in a rapidly developing industrial region further strengthens the company’s position as a key player in Ahmedabad’s real estate and infrastructure market.

Kamal Singal, the Managing Director and CEO of Arvind SmartSpaces, expressed enthusiasm about the development, noting, “We are excited to diversify our horizontal product mix in Ahmedabad and add a large industrial park to our portfolio. This industrial plotted development is a crucial addition to our portfolio and will further augment our presence in the Ahmedabad region, now with 77 million square feet of ongoing and upcoming projects.” The proposed industrial park’s location offers several strategic advantages. The site is situated close to the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and the upcoming Dholera Special Investment Region, both of which are expected to boost connectivity and transport efficiency. Its proximity to key industrial hubs, such as Saurashtra, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, and major ports like Kandla, Mundra, and Pipavav, positions it as an attractive destination for industries involved in pharma, engineering, logistics, and renewable energy.

Officials plan for this industrial park to become a focal point for diverse industries, leveraging the proximity to major transport corridors and established industrial parks. The region already hosts several large-scale industries in various sectors, including pharmaceuticals, engineering, logistics, and manufacturing, which will benefit from the park’s modern infrastructure and accessibility. The 440-acre industrial park is expected to provide ample space for large industries and logistics companies, with the potential to accommodate various industrial and manufacturing activities.
