Arkade Developers to Redevelop 6.5 Acres in Dahisar with ₹1,700 Crore GDV
Arkade Developers, a prominent real estate player, has announced the acquisition of a major cluster redevelopment project in Dahisar, a rapidly growing area in Mumbai. The ₹1,700 crore project involves the redevelopment of the Anand Nagar Society on a 6.5-acre land parcel, offering a total saleable area of approximately 6.76 lakh square feet.
The project is located in Dahisar East, strategically near key transport hubs such as the Dahisar Station, Anand Nagar Metro Station, and the Western Express Highway. This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Arkade Developers, as it continues to strengthen its position in the real estate market of Mumbai. Amit Jain, Chairman and Managing Director of Arkade Developers, emphasized the company’s proactive expansion, noting that the positive momentum in the real estate sector, particularly in the wake of the 2025 Union Budget, has encouraged the company to acquire new projects. The favorable market conditions have led to Arkade securing five new projects this year alone—four redevelopment and one outright purchase. These projects are spread across prime regions within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
Arkade’s redevelopment project in Dahisar is set to offer luxury residences in configurations of two, three, and four bedrooms, aimed at meeting the growing demand for high-end housing in the region. The company has also demonstrated its commitment to delivering on time, as it has already received four occupation certificates (OCs) ahead of schedule, in line with the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) timelines. The Mumbai real estate market continues to be heavily influenced by redevelopment projects, with several developers actively securing land parcels and partnerships. Arkade’s new venture follows its January 2025 acquisition of a 4-acre parcel in Goregaon West, with a projected revenue of ₹2,000 crore. Other prominent developers, including Kalpataru Limited and Mahindra Lifespaces, have also been making significant strides in Mumbai’s redevelopment sector.
As Arkade Developers looks to expand its portfolio, the Dahisar project further solidifies its position in Mumbai’s competitive real estate market, with continued focus on premium developments and timely project completions. With a gross development value (GDV) of ₹1,700 crore, Arkade Developers’ Dahisar cluster redevelopment project holds the potential to reshape the local real estate landscape. The company’s expanding footprint and its success in securing large-scale projects suggest a promising future for both the developer and Mumbai’s evolving housing market.
