The state is set to establish India’s first Quantum Valley in Amaravati, aiming to become a global hub for quantum computing and innovation.
The Quantum Valley Tech Park, scheduled for inauguration on January 1, 2026, will house the country’s most powerful quantum computer—a 156-qubit IBM Quantum System Two. This initiative is a collaborative effort between the Andhra Pradesh government, IBM, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), and Larsen & Toubro (L&T).The tech park is envisioned as a Silicon Valley-inspired ecosystem, integrating academia, startups, and global expertise.
It aims to spur high-end job creation, talent development, and attract global investments into India’s emerging quantum industry In addition to technological advancements, the state is focusing on inclusive policies and real-time analytics to ensure that the benefits of innovation reach all segments of society.
