Abhinav Singh, Vice President of Operations for India and Australia, emphasised the significance of this venture: “We have built India’s fastest, safest, and most reliable operations network. Opening our doors through these tours allows people to witness firsthand the collaboration between technology and our dedicated workforce that powers daily customer deliveries.” Singh’s remarks underscore Amazon’s commitment not only to operational excellence but also to fostering a deeper connection with the communities it serves. The decision to inaugurate the Amazon Tours in India was announced at the ‘Delivering the Future’ event held in Tokyo, a platform showcasing innovations shaping the logistics landscape globally. Nick Boone-Lutz, head of Amazon’s public tours programme, noted the extensive success of similar initiatives worldwide. “Since 2014, over two million visitors have toured Amazon facilities across the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia,” he said.
