Ahmedabad Demolishes Illegal Settlements Near Lake
The Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), in collaboration with state police forces, initiated a large-scale demolition drive targeting illegal settlements near Chandola Lake on Tuesday.

The crackdown also led to the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against an individual alleged to have facilitated the illegal settlements by providing fraudulent rental agreements and assisting in obtaining official identification documents.
