Adani Realty Plans 8 Millions Sq. Ft. Development Near Navi Mumbai Airport

In a major push to redefine Mumbai’s real estate and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) landscape, Adani Realty, the real estate arm of the Adani Group, has unveiled plans for an expansive 6–8 million square feet development near the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA). The project, strategically located to leverage the airport’s connectivity, aims to create a mix of residential, commercial, and retail spaces, including a convention centre with a seating capacity of 25,000.

This convention centre is poised to rival the Jio World Convention Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC). Alongside corporate meeting rooms and five-star hotels, the centre will include premium retail outlets, forming part of a 3–3.5 million square feet integrated development. Its proximity to NMIA ensures seamless accessibility, addressing the connectivity challenges often associated with other venues like Jio World Centre. Adani Realty’s ambitious plans don’t stop there. The company has secured a 24-acre plot near the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, where it will construct a mixed-use complex. Residential spaces will dominate, covering 3.5 million square feet of the total 4.5 million square feet. Additionally, the company is transforming the 18-acre former ACC campus in Thane into a residential hub, complete with six-story buildings designed for urban living.

Adani Realty’s growth aligns with the increasing demand in India’s MICE sector, as corporates seek high-end venues for global events. With a portfolio spanning cities like Ahmedabad, Gurugram, Pune, and Odisha, the company has completed 24 million square feet of projects and is actively working on an additional 61 million square feet. These developments reflect Adani Realty’s commitment to shaping India’s urban and business landscapes, leveraging connectivity and innovation to set new benchmarks in real estate. The Navi Mumbai project, in particular, signals a significant step towards positioning the city as a global destination for commerce and leisure.
