ABB India’s Nashik factory has reached a significant milestone in sustainability
by achieving water positivity and securing mission to zero status, reaffirming
the company’s commitment to responsible environmental management. This
accomplishment signifies that the facility replenishes more water to freshwater
sources than it consumes, promoting sustainable water management practices.

rating of 1.14 from Griha Council. ABB’s mission to zero initiative focuses on
global energy efficiency and carbon-neutral manufacturing. The Nashik factory
plays a pivotal role in manufacturing equipment crucial for urbanisation,
electrification and sustainable transportation.
ABB India intends to share its successful approach with both local and global
partners, encouraging more manufacturers to adopt responsible energy and
water management practices, contributing to a sustainable and environmentally
conscious future. The achievements of ABB’s Nashik factory underscore the
company’s dedication to environmental responsibility and sustainable
manufacturing practices.
