Royaloak Furniture, one of India’s largest organised home furnishings brands, has deepened its presence in Bengaluru with the opening of two new company-owned stores in Rajajinagar and Banashankari. The expansion reflects a strategic focus on high-density neighbourhood clusters, where proximity and experiential retail are key drivers of urban consumer behaviour.
Bengaluru remains a pivotal market for furniture retail, shaped by rapid urbanisation, rising home ownership, and a growing preference for organised and branded home décor. By concentrating outlets within key residential and commercial corridors, Royaloak is reinforcing accessibility for consumers while leveraging the city’s mature furniture ecosystems, particularly in well-established zones known for high footfall and specialised home retail.Analysts note that furniture buying in India remains highly tactile, with shoppers valuing the ability to touch, see, and evaluate products in person. Royaloak’s cluster-based approach — placing multiple stores within a 5–7 km radius — not only improves convenience but also strengthens brand recall. The new Bengaluru stores collectively add more than 24,000 square feet to Royaloak’s retail footprint in the city, which already exceeds 4.5 lakh square feet across its network.
