Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) hosted a formal retirement felicitation ceremony at its Coal Bhawan Headquarters, recognising the long-standing contributions of employees concluding their service. The event, attended by senior management, family members, and labour representatives, highlighted the company’s emphasis on valuing employee commitment and institutional knowledge in a sector crucial for India’s industrial and energy infrastructure.

During the ceremony, 20 personnel—comprising 15 officers and five headquarters staff—were honoured with certificates, mementos, ceremonial robes, and gifts as tokens of appreciation. The programme, presided over by BCCL’s Chairman and Managing Director (CMD), emphasised the significance of experience accumulated over decades in sustaining operational excellence and corporate growth.In his address, the CMD highlighted that retirement represents both an endpoint of dedicated professional service and the beginning of a new chapter, encouraging retirees to focus on personal health, family, and social contribution.
